G'day - planning an adventure!

What’s your name?
Dominic

Where do you come from?
Australia

What is your experience of unicycling?
Learned on a 20" uni I found on fb marketplace last year. After a few months, I rode it 14km from Petone to Wellington and had a blast.

I’m buying a KH36 this year to potentially do some touring in Europe next year! I notice a lot of old blogs of tours are often scrubbed from the web so any advice on long-distance self-supported touring is welcome!

I don’t have any advice on unicycle touring, though I can say one thing… Riding a 36er really is something else, in a good way :slightly_smiling_face: It’s one of my favorites out of my fleet

Welcome to the forum!

These ones are great! I saw Jai’s posts and have reached out to him to try and find out more about his circumnavigation of Ireland, but I didn’t see the other ones - great stuff!

I’m very excited to get the bags in the mail. I’ll be doing plenty of training up the heat of the Northern territory this year haha

Hi @Dom_on_1_wheel ,
First of all, that seems like a really cool project.
You can also chack my trip in the USA this summer (I crossed Wisconsin, from Minneapolis to Chicago). I don’t know how you plan to ride, but if you want to go on the lighter side, it might be interesting.

Welcome!

Find Ed Pratt on YouTube and watch his world tour on a 36er. If that doesn’t inspire you, nothing will.
