we have some generic corner gas-and-go store we refer to as 7-11. i rode down there to find it is not an actual 7-11. they do hav (non-free) slurpies though.
That promotion is from 2004! Is it still in effect for 7/11/2006? WOnder if the local one in my area still has Tuna-flavor slurpees! My personal favorite flavor is the famous “Salmon-Swirl” slurpee! OF course, the “Super-Salty” slurpee is a close second.

Oh well, yesterday it would’ve been 11/7, maybe we get it in November in the backward-dated countries.
I planned on surprising the kids to a free Slurpee after Uni practice last nite only to find out they already had gotten one that afternoon. I found my free Slurpee at the second store we tried.
It will be another year for my next Slurpee brain freeze.

Ohh how exciting! I’ve been waiting all year for a break like this! Imagine not having to raid your piggy bank for a few dimes and pennies to actually buy one…now tomorrow it’s free! YAY! Now with all the extra money I’ll save, I can finally get that last $1,500 DM uni that UDC has been trying to get rid of since 1988!

Dang it. Since I have been living in MN for most of my life where they don’t have 7-11’s, I was looking forward to this day now that I moved to sunny California where they have them everywhere. But now that I am at NAUCC in South Dakota where they don’t have 7-11’s, I again can’t take advantage of this deal. Guess I’ll have to wait till next year…
Uhm, I wish we had that here. I just finished mowing the lawn and a slurpee would be nice (not that I know how one tastes, it just seems refreshing)

Slurpees?
7-11 is a gas station/convienience* store that sells slurpys. On the 11th of july they give away free slurpys. (A slushi drink much like like a smoothie but artificially flavored. They sport flavors such as Mountain Dew and Cherry, and Mango, and some others.)
It would be like going into the Kwik-e-mart and getting a squishee.
i would go to a 7/11, but the closest one is like 90 miles away. My moms going to be around that area today i think, and said if she sees a 7/11, shes going to get me a slurpee lol.
