Hi! ![]()
I’ve created an image-focused experimental plugin.
It adds a gallery view to each post. The gallery contains all the pictures from the topic (as long as the current user has access to them).
The goal of this plugin is to be able to browse the content of image-heavy topics like Pictures of your latest ride continued without the regular topic interface getting in the way.
Believe it or not, many years ago, on the old version of the forum, I spent many evenings looking at ALL the pictures of this topic and its predecessors
It uses the regular posts’ neat image browser.
Galleries can be filtered by username and date.
When moving the cursor over a thumbnail, a background appears on other thumbnails from the same post.

To access a topic’s gallery, click the icon below the timeline:
There’s also a gallery button below each post. Clicking this button opens the gallery, but the images start from this post.
Known bugs:
- It shows embedded links’ favicons and thumbnails (oneboxes) in the gallery; it shouldn’t.
Try it, any feedback is appreciated!
Especially, if you see security issues, like pictures you shouldn’t have access to, please report privately ![]()
The plugin is currently enabled only for registered members. Visitors can’t see the galleries.
