I used to spell all quick and rushed and shorted like that but now i try to write in proper english and not text speak just for you guys:D

wow that dosnt sound like a proper sentance to me, i said i tryed, but not that hard:p

To all the people having fits about his spelling and grammar, it doesn’t actually matter. I don’t see why, if someone especially has problems with spelling and grammer, they should have to go and download special programmes so they can write a decent enough post to satisfy you lot.

You don’t have to download anything…you don’t even have to make that much effort…just try to not get ‘w’, and ‘k’ mixed up…although they are a good six inches away, so I can see how you would have messed up.

And (oh woops i started a sentence with and!! grammar police!!) towards what alex said, it’s not like he is making an important speech or anything, he’s just showing you his video…

The ‘first impression’ thing is key here though. If he posted the same thread/same video with intelligent spelling/grammar, people would go into the video with a more positive mindset than they would if they had spent the last five minutes trying to translate someone sitting on the keyboard into English.

As I said before Em, this is in no way a personal attack on you. You’re just an example.

Welcome flaming cat dude! Yes, different forums have different “cultures” and acceptable behavior. In this one the users will get on your case if it looks like you’re not trying to use English. I use it (even at my advanced age) as a reason to constantly try to improve my spelling and writing. It’s great practice that can serve all of us well in the “real” world.

Thank you Leo. I can ride the BC about 20m now, that Northshore was the same one as from Barnstable but it was at Roadford Lake. I would bring the pink hair back but they said if i did it again they would expel me. I’ll probably do it just before the next summer holidays

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as “Euro-English”.

In the first year, “s” will replace the soft “c”. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard “c” will be dropped in favour of “k”. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome “ph” will be replaced with “f”. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where! more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent “e” in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing “th” with “z” and “w” with “v”.
