Is the weight savings you get from riding with no bearing caps worth it?
yes
Maybe don’t do any hops without them though… Strictly a racing uni
Or just some really extremely epic wheelwalking stunts.
Well, I was in the process of packing my uni for some travels, hence, no bearing cups. I actually ride this wheel now, I like the green better, and the koxx 140s more too.
It’s 4.5kg.

The green is much nicer
Amazing weld quality!
I’ve been a metal model maker/ fabricator for over 35 years, and have worked with some talented craftsmen, but I have NEVER seen better welding than what’s on the Triton frames. Pure artwork!

Too sad, that it’s not possible to install two of theese QRD adapters at the same time.
Hi Jogi,
Nice uni !
Is it the new Triton design with smaller and lighter titanium tubes ?
yes, 1 inch tubing,
500g:D
but all this frames are gone…for very old orders.
5 more are done but not jet shipped,
20" trials are done but not shipped,
36" and 24" and 26 - 29 wide frames will be made soon… (- in the next years? )
Sign me up for one of these
Hi Jogi,
Put me down for a 29" frame (NOT extra wide). I couldn’t get Dmitry to make road frames, so this will have to do.
Will it be done before Unicon next year?
Ken
Any idea why not? I was thinking about a road Triton.
- Dmitry is very busy with bikes frames building
- Previous uni frames needed specific tubing size (I don’t know for the current productiion which is using 1" tubes)
- Dmitry hates unicyclists
Not true, he loves them, he just couldn’t eat a whole one himself.
I’m in the process of building a KVA stainless steel road racer. Will be even lighter than the Tritons with a sexy s-curve and double butts
less than 500g ?
