ya they were plastic. and ill go get a pic right now.
ouch…i guess i’ve made up my mind…no pc’s for me. i snapped the end of a mag pedal when i caught it on a long three set(like each step was like 1.5 ft long) but they are still ridable
ya the pedal just exploded.
haha wow, it seems like the plastic on these pedals are so brittle, same with the axles.
So far the best plastic pedal ive had so far is the torkers. never bent them and finally smashed one the other day, after years.
i was riding at moab, and the pedals just hit the ground and blew up.
I Might As well Post my Uni aniway, But, New Pedals and Tire coming up.

haha you diudnt steal it?
i thought for a moment that valve caps are turning into the hood ornaments of the 80’s.
haha. no ![]()
good one ![]()
my buddys and i, when i first started, use to steal the caps of big rigs because they looked like metal crowns. hahaa
this was almost 6 or 7 years ago…wayyyyy back in the day.
so im selling a lot of my nimbus:
rim and tire are gone, pedals, seat.
basically im keeping frame, seatpost, hub/cranks.
and
grabbing a kh fusion, haro small blocks (plastics), ive got a shaved tryall, and im stuck between a fancy coloured tryall or drilled KH. I think ill go for the drilled KH.
ill let everyone know when its done.
p.s. still thinking about carbon base..
You really should get a CF Base.
well ive never rode one before, i’ve never really demolished a saddle to the point it was useless. I can see the weight issue though, BUT i do remember using my trusty old viscount with a reeder bolted to it ![]()

Its not just about the weight and the strength. It makes the whole ride more rigid. It gives it a totally different and much better more responsive feel. I’d suggest that before changing the rim.
it REALLY changes the way it feels.
I never ever would ave thought it wo8uld be so dramatic. but it is.
i realize, ive tried it before. But im looking for a bit of a weight difference, so that means changing out the rim.
plus the student loan budget wont allow it at this moment either ![]()
A CF base saves 200-300 grams. Basically all rims are within 100 grams of each other so you won’t save much weight there. But then again for flipping and spinning I guess weight saved on the outside of the wheel is more important.
Well…its more of a KH, but if we go by frames…its a Nimbus!
Heres my new Muni:

specs:
-Nimbus ll 24" frame
-Nimbus Alloy Seat post
-KH Fusion Freeride Saddle
-KH moment Hub
-KH Moment cranks(150mm)
-KH '07 Drilled rim
-KH 13g spokes
-Wellgo MG-4 pedals
-Duro Wildlife Leopard Tire
-Duro Heavy Weight(or something like that) tube
