In this video, Adam talks about how the SBU is much different from riding a unicycle, so we can assume he does, in fact, ride a unicycle.
Vinny from American Chopper! seen last night in a long segment where he was practicing riding in the shop, while Mikey juggled some hats. He had some good runs.
Paris Hilton can juggle 3 balls
I know because I taught her. She was a fan of my street show as a child. One day she and Nicky approached me at Mallory Square in Key West, saying she had a bet with Nicky I could teach her to juggle. I would guess she was about 13 at the time. Nicky was noticeably smaller and younger.
She pulled a fair crowd at times, even with zero fame . I noticed she would never practice unless someone was watching. I asked her why, and she said, “juggling is something people watch you do, so if I am juggling, people must be watching.”
Bet he could make himself an awesome uni!
Thought this was going to be a sex joke…
Have a look on the last French Go-Kart KARTmag magazine with Formula1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg on a unicycle
Crap!
Does this mean I have to like Lewis Hamilton now?!?
You all know Dave (Gild) is a celebrity radio announcer, right? His show is heard throughout the world via the internet
Another celebrity who unicycles;)
We had missed the most obvious for all this time, good thing you came here, billy.
…
Has Kris Hom been mentioned yet?
No, but Kris Holm has. :3
I think I’m more of a Unicyclist who Celebrities.
Harper is way more famous than me, he’s a Rocket Scientist for boris’ sake.
Kris Holm is a celebrity and he can unicycle!
Gigi Edgley
I guess my fiance, Gigi Edgley, would be considered as a famous person as she is on TV (Farscape, Rescue Special Ops, Tricky Business, etc.) and I taught her how to ride. Here is an article about it her favorite things: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/gigi-edgleys-favourite-things/story-fn6ja7nc-1226360343569
And a video to go with it: http://video.couriermail.com.au/2236412150/What-Gigi-Edgley-cant-live-without
Here is the article for future reference in case those links don’t work:
ACTOR Gigi Edgley was trying her luck in La La Land in her early 20s when she met her now-fiance, world champion unicyclist and performer Jamey Mossengren.

“After the work stopped because of the writer’s strike in 2007, I was going to come home, but Jamey convinced me to stay,” she recalls. “He taught me to ride and for the next year, we did street performances all over the world.” Since returning home, the 34-year-old - who stars in Nine Network drama Tricky Business, Mondays at 9.30pm - has kept up the hobby, often heading out on her unicycle for hours each day, accompanied by the couple’s golden retriever, MacGyver. “It’s great exercise and hang-time.”

Gigi can’t live without…
MACGYVER
One day, Jamey said, “I’ve thought of the perfect name for our child - MacGyver, after the TV show!” And I said, “Well, I don’t know about that, so let’s get a dog.” He’s the naughtiest little thing, because we let him be.
DANCE
I grew up doing contemporary dance and ballet, but I’ve started burlesque as well. It’s empowering and a great way to discover your inner goddess. It’s nice to be feminine at times.
GLOBE
This belonged to my late uncle; he was a sailor and quite whimsical. My sisters and I would spin the globe and put our fingers down saying, “This is where I’ll meet the love of my life.”
TRAPEZE
Because of my dad [showbiz promoter Michael Edgley], I grew up backstage at circus shows. There’s something about flying through the air and feeling effortless.
YOGA
In this industry, you need something to keep you grounded. I’ve started doing Bikram yoga, which is in 40-degree heat for an hour-and-a-half.
FAMILY
There are seven of us kids; they put up with me through all my ups and downs. Mum [Jeni, top] is spiritual; Dad [above centre, at his wedding to Edgley’s step-mum, Justine] is about working tirelessly - two energies critical to what I do.
SKINCARE
My skin was really tired when I was filming [sci-fi series] Farscape, because of all the make-up. My sister Capi is a naturopath and used me as an experiment for her skincare line; the range is amazing and all free trade.

could this be on Rec Sport?
Yes, this thread should definitely be in the rec.sport.unicycling forum (if it’s still called that).
Today’s celebrity is a top college athlete. Mitch McGary, who plays Basketball for the University of Michigan, is apparently an avid unicyclist. He will be playing in the NCAA national title game tomorrow (Monday, April 8) vs. Louisville at the Final Four.
The reason I know about Mitch is that I was contacted today by a reporter from USA Today, who wanted to talk to a “unicycle expert” on whether being a unicyclist would be an aid to a 6’-10", 250-pound athlete in being “more agile and skilled than your normal big guy.” Of course it bloody does! I described why, with a little background about unicycling. Apparently Mitch is from Indiana (he didn’t know where), and learned as a teenager. It would be very cool to see him on a uni basketball team!
And John Childs was busy?
(don’t mind me, I’m just teasing, things have been way too serious around here for far too long now.)
Probably John Childs comes up because this is an old thread (that has just been revived). For the newer members: John Childs was a prolific and very knowledgeable poster in this forum. In 2004 he was awarded the “RSU Helpfulness And Quality Of Advice Award”. He rarely posts now, or perhaps his posts manage to escape my attention.
I certainly haven’t seen him post in ages.
Let’s invite him to NAUCC!
Philip Petit unicycles and tightrope walks. He offers lessons for $5,000.00.
PHILIPPE PETIT, universal poet laureate of the high wire, was born in France and took his first steps on the wire at age 16. He learned everything by himself while being expelled from five different schools.
