Best pictures of 2025 for the 2026 World Unicycling Calendar

Hi everyone, I’m making another World Unicycling Calendar! I invite you to submit your best unicycling pictures of the year (2025) in this thread.
Once finished, the calender will be a free pdf download for anyone interested, to print a copy for yourself. I will post details here once I’m done.

On the calendar I want to include a wide spectrum of disciplines such as muni, road riding, track racing, urban, freestyle, team sports. Keywords: action (as opposed to posing), spectacular, amazing, remarkable, unique, funny, expert riding, technical picture quality, composition, gorgeous scenery.

Please post (or link) your pictures on 24 December at the latest, to be eligible for the calendar. It’s OK to post low-res, because if the picture would pass pre-selection I’ll contact you for a high-res version.
In addition, I will browse some forum threads for pictures posted this past year.

There is more info about the World Unicycling Calendar on my website

Me after successfully pedaling 447 miles across the state of Utah from top to bottom (Oct 20 2025). In total, it took 20 days of riding to complete (not counting rest days).

Here’s a link to a handful of photos from 2025. Some are intended just for fun as they don’t meet the Calendar criteria:

Rough captions: (in filename order)

  1. Some of John’s unicycles (the rest are in the “Museum Collection” on the other side of the garage
  2. The Redford Township Unicycle Club celebrated its 50th Anniversary by hosting NAUCC 2025 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. *rider* is jumping over two Gryzches (spellcheck) and a third person; names to be provided if needed
  3. Noticing a scary-looking mark after returning from a solo ride of the original California MUni Weekend trails in Auburn, CA. I forgot my leg armor that day; this is murphy’s law in action
  4. Bevan Gerber-Siff rides down a very steep, lumpy section of trail high above Pacifica, CA and the Pacific Ocean at the 2025 California Mountain Unicycle Weekend
  5. rider heading down on the Pacifica trails at the 2025 California Mountain Unicycle Weekend. US Highway 1 and the oceean make a beautiful backdrop.
  6. Prehistoric Muni riders, living in caves at Rockville Hills Park, Fairfield, CA on day 2 of the 2025 California Mountain Unicycle Weekend. I believe they are all members of the Cal Poly Unicycle Club, and will be hosting NAUCC 2026 in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Hey folks, I’m extending the deadline to December 26 because of personal commitments over Xmas. If you want to contribute a photo (or more), here’s your opportunity!

Hello Klaas!

I have one that I think is really nice, but it’s the same kind of photo as @mattlost1wheel .

I have one where you can see me on the unicycle, but I’m not smiling as much in it, haha.

The calendar is finished and the first copy is hanging from my wall. If you want to print a copy for yourself, it’s totally free. I need your e-mail address to be able to send the pdf file through TransferNow. Also please state your country of residence. Additional info is welcome but not required.

Don’t use the calendar, or parts of it, for commercial purposes. All contributions, as well as my work on it, have been made for free, on the premise that no-one makes money off of it.

Please don’t forward the download link or the pdf file itself. Anyone interested can get a download link directly from me.

If you would print more than one copy (for your riding buddy, your mother, your students…), please let me know, as I like to keep track of where the calendar ends up. This fuels my motivation to keep making them!
