im asking for a bass guitar for christmas and was wondering what to buy. ive been looking at the walmart/k-mart ones but im positive i will get a crappy sound out of those (even for a beginner bass). So i found a website that it good and for real. im trying to go cheap since its my first and might not stick with it. so heres my first and second pick pick#3 (price, package) im sure that last one will be sh*tty in the area of sound but its cheap and comes with an amp. if you have any other sugestions, my general price range is under 250$ or mabye a little over.
P.S. im also trying to stay as cheap as possible since i already got a 100$ present early (bc wheel)
You can’t go wrong with a simple $200 Fender bass. They’re pretty good quality and if you don’t stick with it you can usually get a good deal when selling it.
no no no no no. For the PERFECT beginner bass you want the Squier package. Its under 300…the bass is quality. Its like lower end Fender. You won’t have any problems with it.
Trust me. My first electric guitar was a Squier. They are often underrated. I played the bass too. Its the best value for a beginner. As you progess you’ll eventually want something better…but this is perfectly suitable for all conditions.
anything ibanez will be good. they are a very solic company

It is a very very good guitar for the price. Good solid sound. I highly recomend that.
This bass is better than your average starter, as i said i got it as my second bass, almost no buzzing compared the the squier and oter starters.
