I unispin clockwise, 360 clockwise, varial… everything clockwise. That’s pretty common isn’t it?
I asked this in another thread but it was left unanswered.
If you can 180unispin easier clockwise and 360 unispin counter-clockwise easier, which one, if any, is blind?
And what makes a varial blind a blind twist or a blind spin?
I really think a trick should be blind depending on what is harder for the individual trick, not on the base tricks that make it up.
I think I agree… so for all the people still confused, “blind” means “more difficult for YOU”.
What do you reckon about this monosyllibablkbic system?
in2in = “in” Simply because there’s no “out” about it, it’s in2in… or in for short.
out2in = “on” Some sort of first letter and last letter deal, it would also make sense because when you go out2in it’s kinda like getting “on” the uni… and also generally implies that you roll “on” smoothly after the trick.
in2out = “out” This is an established naming convention.
out2out = anything else.
Luke, do you know anyone that spins 3s the other way than their 1spins. To me the 1spin would be blind direction, since 3spins are harder and go that way, that way would be dominant. Since most likely you would 5spin that way, or 7spin. What is more dominant in your opinion, unispins or twists. To me my twist can easily be done either way, so I put more effort into blind unispins. It’s like this. Smallspins are my blind twist, but good unispins, or I go that way, then going my good twist but bad unispin. In Xavs Small Fakieflip he is going his dominant twisting and unispin direction, so there is nothing blind about it, except he flipped the cranks. So it all depends what you put more effort on. To me I wouldn’t call anythign of his blind since it’s his easier way (good point pete66). I kinda blind is lame (cept for unispinflips). But anything with a twist just is stupid.

p.s. I don’t care for the in2in, out2out anymore. In a game of U-N-I they will all be ignored and it will simply be the trick. (I quit caring about varials and smallspins, though a bigflip would be a lot easier than a fullvarialflip if your spinning direction allowed it.)

i dont know a lot but this stuff, but i think that wee should call it “normal” what is confy for the rider but if it isn’t confy then it is blind(hahaha basically everything is unconfy:) )… look at me i do the 180flip clockwise(confy). but i can only do 360spin anti-clockwise(confy)… and if i do a (blind)180flip anti-clockwise then it’s not confy… well that is my opinion.

when i do hickflips i spin to the left, but when i do outflips i spin to right:p

I agree. I’ve always been thinking that a blind spin, is a spin in the hardest direction…
There is a huge list of tricks and descriptions, dunno how correct they are.
I’d love to get in on this game, but I don’t know where it is as far as tricks and levels(ex: crankflip-novice). could someone please fill me in?
I’m pretty sure pro is Blind Trey fakieflip and expert is 360 late flip. Not sure about novice.
