If Dan Heaton gets around to flips anytime soon, you can bet we’ll be seeing those (540 flips) soon.

Now, I think that the name fifthflip isn’t so good because if (and thats a heavy if) anyone ever gets around to landing an actual fifthflip (5 flips) then it will have to be called a fifthflip. You also can’t be calling it a 540 flip because then you would have to change treflip and hickflip to 360 flip and 180 flip respectively, and seeing as those are already around, it doesn’t work out.

EDIT: This game is aimed at tricks that can be done off sets. Would anyone be opposed to starting a flatland game? I think the rules would be that no trick would be able to be done off sets. There hasn’t really been much progress in the flatland area for a while, and I think people would get really creative and we’d see alot of cool new stuff.

@Shaun- You can’t really name a twisting flip trick just by the twisting degree (180, 360, 540) because then people will confuse just a normal 180, 360, 540 (hoptwists) for having flips in them. You’re right though, hick, tre, and fifth (with the exception of fifth(see explination above)) work.

I always thought it be:
tripleflip: 3 flips
quadruple (or just quad) flip: 4 flips
quintuple flip (or just quint): 5 flips

In skateboarding you have this (the uni trick equivalents are in parentheses): variel flip (hickflip), tre flip/360 flip (tre flip), 540 flip (fifthflip). Not sure what I am getting at with that, but just making a comparison.

Instead of making only a flatground game, I’d suggest starting up Spencer’s Uni Trick Clip game back up. This game allows one trick or a run of tricks (static flatland or rolling), so you could do flatland combos or whatever. Maybe have a beginner and advanced game within that thread too. We could have gilby move it to the video forum.
