Attempt of Fastest Circumnavigation [World] by unicycle. Start Sydney 12 Jan 2026

Thank you,

After 2 weeks, I am well back on the mend. For last few days, I can rotate pedals on a stationery gym bike full rotation, and am back to walking with normal gait. No pain, just limited range of motion on left knee. Will continue gentle exercises for MCL.

Regards second attempt, it will not be in the near future. I have learnt a lot on this tour and will actually be going to UNICON22 in Austria to pass on my experiences at the UniTouring workshop.

Practically, with constant family commitments at this stage of my family life, and the obvious need to reunite at regular short intervals, I was becoming well underfunded.

I still hold out hope I would like to unicycle around the world, but cant see it happening in the near term.

There is a chance, I may have healed by September, to ride a one or two wheeled cycle through Korea from Seoul to Busan (633km)

I would love to attend a workshop that you present at, I’m eager to learn more about your experience.

What a shame about the end, but at least the small silver lining is that you can attend UniCon now. Congratulations on the distance you achieved, it’s no small feat!
