If you don’t know what I mean here is a photo from google images:
Basically the fibreglass leaf spring down the back of the stilt allows you to propel yourself upto around 6ft into the air, you can also run at good speeds as you literally have a spring in your step!
I used to, I’m with a fire / circus art group, so there were a few sets about to have a go on. I got myself a set, we had a couple of gym hall bookings to learn flips. Then I got bored of them and sold them.
I’ve got a set, but the springs are little lightweight for me. I bottom out if I try to bounce too high. They are gathering dust now it’s cold and wet, but I run through a few sets of booties in the summer months.
In the USA your two options are either powerisers or FlyingJumpers, personally I’d suggest getting a pair of poweriser advanced, which will set you back around $400
Here is a link to probably the cheapest place you can get them:

Yeah true, but a lot of people try to run before they can walk
The one guy I know of who broke the 30mph mark, managed on the second try to trip and break his wrist (he was even wearing wrist guards if i remember correctly)
Alright, half of the Welshies don’t wear wrist guards but pretty much everyone was wearing knee pads, although some were under their shorts/pants so you wouldn’t be able to see them.
There is a second half to that video which is just all the bails and bits that didn’t go in the first video, its more funny if you actually know all the people but still quite a good watch:
Well done! That second video was more fun than the first one. Also watching mistakes and outtakes gives a better idea of the difficulties and dangers of using the Powerisers. The scenes in the gym show some of the progression involved to get to those outdoor flips on hard pavement.
For best results, sprinkle some of the fun stuff from that vid into the first one for a really watchable movie.
