I figure we may as well make it an official poll. I’m no Markdown coder, so hopefully whatever the forums provides here suffices. Just select how many rotors you’d like to order (let us know if you want 4+).

We have 6 units with intent to purchase so far. Do I hear 4 more? If need be to meet the MOQ, I’ll order 3.

Is this perhaps where a reach out to Florian himself is needed? Might he want to consider these rotors over the original ones?

I’m aware there could be reluctance here and a financial issue but any folks ordering Schlumpf hubs would like be wise / clued up enough to ask for it to be shipped sans stock rotors (not pay for one direct) and order a third party one.

Do you picture Florian seeing the logic is using these rotors going forward? @rogeratunicycledotcom

If he is planning a hub build run then maybe that would get the MOQ sorted?

No it is ok, I will order another 10. I should get them ordered this week.

I will speak with Florian next week and see what he thinks.

Fantastic! Hopefully I’ll receive them in time for my big 600-mile unipacking tour starting Sept 17th :crossed_fingers:

@mattlost1wheel I have placed the order, but to get it produced and then for us to add the countersinks and then get it to you before 17th may be a bit of a problem, but I will do my best.

Thank you :folded_hands: I’ll be sure to buy them ASAP this time and not leave them in the cart. Even if they arrive mid-route, my house is along the way. The current warped rotor will have to do. I just have to straighten it with a rotor tuning fork after every long descent.

Have you thought about adding a bit of clearance on the inner side before ordering?

No, these are the same as before. No one complained on fitting them.

Haven’t we? I thought we did discuss this point at Grischa
Anyway, you’re right this eventually fits. If people are happy with them, no problem!

I mean I had a good few hours of filing before mine for. But if we’re happy to keep them tight and add a small amount of exercise to their installation I guess we’re good :joy:

Does make me wonder if hub shells have ever so slight variations is rotor location sizing.

@rogeratunicycledotcom I received notification that the rotors are back in stock. I just wanted to check whether this is true and how many are in stock. If so, that was quite fast!

Also, I don’t see an option for shipping/billing to the USA, just to the US Minor Outlying Islands.

Yes, back in stock but I have to do the countersinks on them, so potentially not going out today.

The USA problem is the USA problem… DHL have turned off USA due to the change in customs rules last week. I need to speak with them to find if there is an alternative way to get their system to work as DDU.

Hope Rotor for Schlumpf Hub D203mm | Unicycle.com (UK)

They are back on the site and I have turned back on the USA as a solution has been found.
