no, the only thing that is a constant concern is having enough protection on your upper inner thighs, because that hot grabby rubber only has to wipe past your thigh flesh a few times before it really hurts (and when you arer going fast, you can 5 or 5 pedal strokes worth of rubbing before it stops!
the only safety concern to think about (although it has never even come close to happening to me, is that your leg could, in theory, fall between the bars and bend/break somehow.

How about the rest of the Ontario riders? This is not only a great race, but it’s a great weekend. Show up Friday evening, and we can all have a few cold ones around the fire. And then some awesome trails to ride Saturday and Sunday. All and all, it’s well worth the drive (very close to Barrie, ON).
