2005 NYC Fest -unicyclists?

Is anybody going to the NY Juggling Fest - April 1-3?

I’m considering attending. Probably flying in Friday and leaving Sunday night.

This is the same weekend as Moab.

I missed it last year, but intend to go this year.

I can’t speak for last year, obviously, but this has not been an overly unicycle friendly juggling festival. The first year no unicycles were allowed in the gym at all. The second year they put a tarp of sorts down so there could be some limited riding in the gym.

It is a fantastic juggling event with a tremendous show. Last year I missed getting to see Vova and Olga and hope they’ll be there this year.

If you come for the juggling I can’t imagine that you’d be disappointed.

I might take you up on your offer. I’ll let you know. Many of the NY unicyclists attend?

Anybody besides JJuggle that can comment on the uni-friendliness of the space? I’ve been talking with Sky (a NY juggler who can uni) and she said it was great for unicyclists…

Sky is a long time member of the Carmine Street Irregulars and an organizer of the event. If she says it is uni friendly now, then I’d take her word for it.

I’ve booked my ticket and will be at the NYC Juggling Fest! Now I’m hoping that many of you unicyclists in and around NYC will also be attending.

I know of at least a half dozen planning to attend, tho I’m not sure you’ll know them other than by name (from past conventions, for example). I’ll be there for sure, possibly with my daughter (and maybe my son, depending on how they’re doing after our return home from Europe the day before). I’ll have at least one unicycle there. See you!
