I don’t have a mechanical on my Oracle/Spirit muni, but the Spyre will fit fine as the caliper dimensions are slightly less than the M596 which I currently use on that muni.
The only thing I might change is to use a lever that has some preset loading to better adjust the lever angle. The short lever TRP does not have that adjustment. I bought those levers because I needed a complete brake ASAP.
I have always been a mechanical disc brake fan, ran Avid BB7 on my bikes and when I build a tandem I will run mechanicals. I like the simplicity, field repairability, and the low cost to buy and replace mechanicals.
