Zach Warren's 100 mile record attempt postponed

Not sure if this has been posted here already, but anyways:

Zach Warren has postponed his planned attempt to attack the “fastest
100 miles on a unicycle” Guinness world record. Originally planned for
19 October, it has now been rescheduled to *** 10 May 2006 ***. This
will be a charity ride for the children of war-torn Afghanistan, and
of course more sponsors are always welcome!

The main reason for the delay is that Zach has had vastly inadequate
training opportunities while being in Afghanistan working with the
Mobile Mini Circus for Children. As a side benefit, the postponement
also gives him the opportunity to acquire an even more advanced (read:
geared) unicycle than the 45" non-pneumatic direct-drive that was
donated specifically for this attempt by Sem Abrahams.
