haha that uni is so cool:)

It’s the Eunicycle. Just so that those who already know what it is don’t have to download the video again.

that’s amazing. could that possibly be the future of muni? maybe we’ll figure out a way to make the motor stronger and faster. until then I’ll just stick to pedaling.

It’s just so sexy! I want one.

Sean

but can you hop?

Lazy Trials riding :sunglasses:

According to the eunicycle web site, Trevor has already used one very
impressive motor. It boasts 3 horsepower in 3.8 pounds of motor.
Compare this to an athlete who can exert 1/2 HP average and 2.5 HP
maximum. I’m sure the hardware could be coaxed to go much faster,
though I have a vauge recollection that there may be a software speed
limit.

It weighs 30 pounds, which has to have an effect on agility. Hopping
will be a lot harder. Switching to lithium polymer batteries could
lighten it up a little, but lipos have a habit of exploding when
abused. Either way, the design would have to be made more rugged to
withstand falling onto rocks.

So… Future of Muni? Maybe not. But I still want one. I’ve been
wondering how well a hub motor would work.

Ken

sure beats those segways. pff who needs two wheels , handlebars and no seat?

stupid

hah, a guy I met the other day had an awesome Idea of how to make one of those
