Hi all

Could someone possibly produce a spec sheet of the uni’s used in the UNiVERse
video so that I can add them to my wish list. I have also heard that there is a
few video clip of other extreme unicycling about on the net, could somebody
point me in the right direction.

Here’s what I know, though this is not complete and may not be
completely accurate:

20" Trials unis used by Dan and Adam:

  • 20" Monty wheels
  • Suzue (Miyata) axles?
  • Steel cranks, 125mm or 140mm (bent a lot during Santa Cruz filming)
  • Schwinn 24" frames
  • Miyata seats

20" Freestyle uni used by Dan:

  • 20" Miyata Standard unicycle
  • (no modifications I’m aware of, other than paint job?)

26" MUni used by Kris Holm (1)

  • 26" DM ATU unicycle
  • Wheel upgrade to 2.6" Intense or Gazzallodi tire and wider rim
  • Miyata seat
  • Upgraded pedals (this was the chrome one he rode on the Santa Cruz rocks)

26" MUni used by Kris Holm (2)

  • Hand made frame, unicrown fork, split block bearing holders
  • Downhill wheel & tire, prox. 2.6" Intense tire
  • Suspension seat post
  • Hydraulic brake with handle under seat
  • Profile or Profile-like axle and prox. 175mm cranks

26" MUni used by Dan Heaton:

  • Pashley 26" Muni
  • Kooky, bendy crank arms that looked real cool
  • Miyata seat

I think Dan’s freestyle uni is a German uni and not a Miyata. If I remember
right it’s got some sort of main cap or split bearing holder and not the Miyata
bearing holder.

It looks like a Semcycle XL. Perhaps Dan or his mom could clarify.

It’s a Siegmono frame. You can get information on www.siegmono.de , only in
German tho.
