Why does it tell me every time someone replies to my posts?

Why does it tell me every time someone replies to my posts? I get these emails saying someone’s replied to one of my posts. I’ve tried going into the ‘user cp’ section and changing the optins but it doesn’t do anything. It’s really annoying because now that I’m posting quite a bit, I get heaps of these emails. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?

p.s. I’ve been looking for a nice orange colour for my custom frame that I’m getting and yesterday I realised there was a new KH trials unicycle. That orange frame’s great and it’s almost exactly what I’ve been looking for. I think I’ll paint my frame a similar orange but maybe a little more metallic.

You want to set the “email notification” to off… but then be very patient, as I think it still sends email for the posts you’ve already got up.

Thanks Phil, that explains a lot because I have set that optin to off and it still notifies me.

I was most recently having this problem. When you post a reply to to a thread, i believe that it subscribes you to it. Once you turn the email notification off, it still sends you e-mails to posts you replied to before you turned the option off. Just “unsubscribe” from all posts once, and, at least from my experience, it will stop sending you post e-mails, even when you post again.

with each email, there’s a link at the bottom that says click here to unsubscribed from this thread. that way, you don’t have to turn your email notification off…if there is a post that you are interested in getting feedback from
