Who's into cartooning?

It’s about time there was a thread about cartooning. Who likes to draw? Submit your pictures! Illustrate your posts!

This probably wont last long but hey…

chosen has some neat drawings of a character named “johnny peacock” or something.

jess reigel has some other decent comics, I can’t remember his website right now though.

as for me, i don’t do cartoons - as I suck at drawing anything real.

I got the impression that’s his real name jonny peacock, not a cartoon guy.

I like drawing cartoons, it’s really fun.
I’m not very good at any other types of drawing though.
caricatures are awesome

Ha, that is chosen’s name…

I like to draw cartoons sometimes, usually when im bored in school.

Dogzilla is a professional cartoonist. He also designed the Tshirt art for NAUCC 2006.

i like drawing stick figures… thats about it

well then the comics he draws are taken from real-life experiences…

i like to draw

I do a few cartoons but they aren’t the best. Most are just one cartoony guy in different moods or stuff ive seen and done my best to draw. Maybe I’ll post a few things later.

You may like to see how unicycle.net looked like in the past 8 years (still is published as being flash4).
Then, in the .com days, a decent flash developer costed USD$ 900 p/h.
There was’nt really suchs a deviding between creative and geeks as today
(which may be the reason why flash site used to be -unnessacairily- heavier than HTML equivalent).
And so I start reading the lessons, fora, and -when I had a lack- solving problems of other developers.

Nowedays more and more performers have themself as cartoon character at their website, but usually not as “interactive” as mine.
And so I recently replaced my site with stop-motion (and as well make use of transparant video’s).

As the cartoon character had more expression, and -I think- is more cute, than the current clay-puppet, I still don’t know which website version I like better, although the business-responses seem to be better, and that was the main purpose of the site.
However feel free to drop any comments.

Oh one of my favourite real interactive website of 8 years ago:
Flashhog.com - The Magic Swami. Try it!
It was made by a unicyclist from Calafornia.
