Whoa...air seat!!

Hey all, did the air seat conversion today on my Miyata seat. It looks a
little lop-sided, but man is it comfy. Now it’s easier to relax and
worry about riding. My free mounting is getting better every day and
I’ve been preparing for muni by riding down my ditch. Weeeeeee!!!

Mine (an air-converted bogglefingers) was lopsided. Recently, learning
to wheel-walk, my right foot slipped off the wheel and the crank arm
caught in my shoe (again). With all my weight on the seat, the crank dug
painfully into my angle. I managed to get off and hop around in pain. In
frustration I kicked the saddle (square on the top) and sent the frame
spinning around the wheel to the other side. A few days later I realised
that the seat was no longer lopsided. The swift kick had evened it up
perfectly. I’m usually a very passive person.

I must have been lucky - I’ve made only one (following Rick Bissell’s
instructions), and it’s perfectly symmetrical! And very comfy!
