Ah, maybe that’s it, although the ones I’ve seen have all had square bars rather than round. If so that must add an awful lot of weight, those things are heavy, I know putting a luggage rack on a coker makes it not so nice to ride, before you even put on the luggage, the way it hangs out from the post seems to do funny things to you?

PDC, that’s an Intense 24x3.0 DH tire on the rim, right? I use the tire on my muni, and need a new one soon. Where did you get yours? The DH shop that sold me mine has gone under.
There is only one weld. The pipe that comes out from under the seat is welded to an old seat clamp. The other parts are a cheap mtb stem and some barends on a realy cutdown set of mtb bars
QBP, a wholesale distributor of cycling components, sells these. I asked the Intense buyer to bring them in to support the 24" Surly Conundrum. There are 11 currently in stock…Part# TR8425. Any bike shop with a QBP account can order one for you. I don’t know the price; the shop will quote you their best price.
