What weird food do you enjoy?

Speaking of movie-foods, who’s ever tried making grilled cheese, Benny & Joon style? AKA by using an iron on them? I’ve always wanted to, but have never have so far…
Also from Benny & Joon are mashed potatoes made with a tennis racket, and of course Joon’s milkshake, made solely of Cap’n Crunch, peanut butter, and milk.
Next time I have some Cap’n Crunch with me, I’m going to try that one.

I like cream cheese, and can eat it plain. I eat scrapple, which covers a variety of things, usually with syrup, so I guess I drink trees. I used to put honey on my mashed potatoes, not too gross, and one time I put ketchup on a snickers, that was good. I eat out for lunch a lot, from minute markets and various fast food restaurants, so i’d say thats kinda gross, but packing lunch has elluded me so far.

It’s not really that strange but I eat fried peanutbutter, banana, and honey sandwiches on almost a daily basis. They are the epitome of tasty.

no, but i’ve roasted a chicken on a snackwich makes before

Years ago I worked with a family at their dog kennels in France, and spent a great evening with an 11 year old French boy catching frogs using a torch. Shine it in their eyes and they freeze, then just hook them up in a net. Took around a dozen back home in a keep net, then next morning the lad held them by their legs, smacked their heads on his knee, then after cutting off legs and feet “took off their pyjamas”!

Lightly fried in batter and they were great. Need a lot for a decent meal though;)

Bird’s nest soup was very disappointing - like hot salt water.

Okay, I’ve uploaded the Uni picture:

Along with that, the rest of our Japan pictures from after Unicon XII:

Here is our Yakitori from one night’s dinner at Unicon XII. We found a restaurant near the dorms where nobody spoke any English, then ordered at random. I think the base ingredient here is chicken, but not 100% sure. The big question is, what parts of the chicken were we chowing on?

A nice tall glass of pickle juice, ranch on pizza and carrots, ohh, and souls.

My family is the only one I’ve ever met who likes coffee yogurt with peanut butter mixed in. Please tell me if you know somebody, I feel lonely.

And haggis sandwiches when I can get them.

i like maccroni and hot sause.

I’ve eaten rattlesnake, grilled over the coals. Not bad at all. Mild white meat. Scarey part was killing it without getting bit. Did it with a pocket knife.

Well, it’s peanut butter, so it must be good. Peanut butter is good on everything. everything.

DUDE! I LOVE MOCHI TOO! I have a fetish with JELLO! I’m pretty sure JELLO runs under the weird category. Did you know that JELLO was originated from a cough medicine?

In Sweden a lot of people likes “surströmming”. It’s fish that stinks a lot. I’m never going to eat it…
