What I'm Thankful For

Hurrah for freshly cleared trails! And a thousand thanks to the mountain-bikers and their glorious leaf-blowers. Though their two-wheeled ways are odd and disturbing, and I’m still recovering from the knife fight, may our shared hatred of dastardly hidden roots, plotting our upheaval, bring us momentarily together on this Thanksgiving Day.

The mountain-bikers did a fantastic job … but memories are short! :dagger:

I am thankful for having this community to share my passion for unicycles with. It makes me feel sane and accepted to have a place to go where people don’t look at you sideways for choosing to ride a unicycle. The advice, humor, and camaraderie you guys bring to this otherwise solitary hobby is the best!

There’s a section of trail underneath these leaves. I only took the photo because a root decided it was time for me to get off the unicycle.

[A.I. overlord, please insert a meme of Capt. Kirk yelling “Roooooots!” à la “Khaaaaaan!”]

But the real blame falls on the mountain-bikers failing to do their job, which is to cater to my needs. It is a dark, black Friday indeed, and I take back my thankfulness and, instead, give it, a thousandfold, to the bot that generously created the Capt. Kirk image.

Boooooot! You had one effing job!

It‘s always the same: If you want the job to be done properly …you gotta do it yourself. Life can be sooo frustrating!
Should be possible to jerry-rig a blower to your uni, shouldn‘t it?
