There is a community pool just down the street from my house, and I frequently “commute” by uni. I just replaced the Nimbus seat with the KH fusion freeride, and the cover does not seem to be waterproof. Does anybody know if the foam underneath will get waterlogged if I hop on it with a wet bathing suit? Or is it a closed cell foam? Thanks.
Search function revealed older thread on this very subject and if I remember correctly Kris said it was no big deal.
Mine gets wet from rain, dropping the unicycle in puddles, and sweat. As long as it has a chance to dry out it doesn’t seem to be an issue.
Thanks for the replies. I guess I just need to remember to take a plastic bag with me, and slip it over the seat for the short ride home.
