Videos that inspire you

I think the first time I had heard of or seen mountain unicycling:

I find these two videos pretty inspiring, and, frankly speaking, a bit nuts. Not sure what’s more impressing - the rolling 360° spin on 36" or jumping down the U-ramp on the 32". My modest uni goals seem to be much more attainable after seeing this.

Wow. I’m glad Cedric Vincent is still riding. He has always been a one of kind rider with how he handles speed on the unicycle. This video from back in the day (the baggy pants  ) really blew my mind when I was first learning. I still haven’t seen anyone else who rides the skate park with this kind of flow.

Yesterday I saw some youtube videos or amputees above knee cycling. I found that inspiring.
But naturally I wonder if they could ride a unicycle with a prosthetic leg.
Anybody know about this?

You mean like this?

Almost. I was thinking above knee amputee.
Im really fascinated by the technology that goes into bionic limbs.
Hugh Herr (awesome name btw) predict that we will have overcome disabilites within this century.

wow awesome! such tricks with the big wheels. Never seen those videos before. I really handle my 32 and 36" inch with care. Hardly any hopping, though I can with the 36. Wouldn’t want the wheels to flop. Apparently they can endure quite a lot. Thanks for the post

What I really like about the Cedric Vincent videos is how most of the bystanders are just casually looking his way, like a guy on a giant unicycle launching himself down flights of stairs or hopping over railings isn’t really that unusual. You could have a troop of Chinese acrobats or Elvis impersonators marching down the street on stilts and it probably wouldn’t raise an eyebrow.

Tricks are not my business, but this video inspires me to never give up.

I came across this one recently and was really impressed not only by the riding, but the scenery.

Seeing as I’ve been trying to find anything Schlumpf related. Given my current preoccupation - never came across this before, in all my uni-video wandering - but it seems to be the best fast-paced G29er riding I’ve ever seen. Hats off to the rider!

Inspiring to know this level of confidence can (for some) be achieved!

This video is unavailable :pensive:

At least it was a few days ago. Seems like Miael Rung took it offline for some reason. It was also embedded in some online newspaper articles.

2 UPD at minute 7… doesn’t seem fast at all. He managed to save from a faceplant without any issue doing only one or 2 steps, not even a real run out. I remember really longer and faster run to avoid crash when riding at a medium-slow pace in high gear and I cannot remember any fast high gear UPD that I didn’t shoulder roll after 1 or 2 steps (it was impossible to run at 20-25km/h in an uneven terrain in an unexepcted moment). So I’m not sure it is a fast ride. It is a trail ride with some scary sprint moments

I wonder if this was ever featured here:

and his perfomance on TV

I just watched this for the first time, after scrolling this forum thread. I have heard of this film, but I am blown away. That is incredible! This goes up to the top for me as well. Anyone involved in the production of this, thank you and rock on!

If a person were wanting to learn the tricks shown in this video and perform them on what is now his Trials unicycle with 140mm cranks, what length cranks would be best? Asking for a friend…

Thatā€˜s a sweet uni (the first one with the long neck), and a mind blowing video!

PS: donā€˜t forget to tell your friend to ship that Hunter frame…

Another inspirational video…

I used 140 mm Cranks and it works for me.
