Greetings! I have very recently been bitten by the unicycle bug while perusing
a juggling catalog. I have done extensive research online in trying to decide
what kind of unicycle to get, but I have one question that someone might be
able to answer:
Does anyone have (or know of) a used unicycle for sale near the Boulder/Denver,
Colorado area? I might still buy new if there are no used unis around, but a
good condition used one would be better.
On the subject, can anyone give me any help in trying to determing what
brand/size of a uni I might prefer? Here’s some criteria:
- I want to foremost impress people: this means a few tricks in the future
- I will probably be riding it to college classes next fall if I decide I like
unicycling enough, so comfort is also a criteria. - I want a unicycle that is good quality, but probably not top-of-the-line
I think I have narrowed it down to either a Miyata or a SemCycle, either 20" or
24". Other than that, I have no idea what the benefits of either model or size
would be. Any suggestions, or any other brands I might want to think about?
Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Hopefully, I’ll get into unicycling a
