Uphill freemount on a 36'er - tutorial

I’ve been riding 36’er for some years now, but it was only recently that I discovered the “key factor” of uphill big wheel freemounting.

An easier ride away would be to ride across the fall line/road first and then turn uphill with momentum.

Uphill freemounting sounds like you’re facing uphill when you mount.
That’s why I watched. Sucked in again.

I briefly mention that you can mount that way one minute in, but I thought that I would get my point across better if I did the video like I did. Personally I think it’s easier to hop than to make a turn.
