Up and Coming: 24" Fat Tires

One On commissioned a 24 x 4" version of the Vee Rubber Mission for their Baby Fat Bike:

Now we have a second 24" fatty commissioned for Frames bikes :

It might be time to resurrect the 24" Surly Conundrum

Uh, no. It’s not.

Why not? it’s a fun to ride…:

Hell Yurr!! IWOOT!

This is the tire I have for my fat 24" and I don’t like it. I’d like to try it on a wider rim (vs. the 65mm I have) but the only wider options I’ve seen are 3" which may not be very different and 4" which is probably too wide for a 4" tire. Back in March On-One Customer Service confirmed they’re working on a 24" version of their Floater but they didn’t have an arrival date.

Hmmmm,

I wonder if I could squeeze one of those into my 24" K1.

Certainly would not buy the Mission though… I ride a fat bike as well and the Mission is junk from what I have read on those forums.

I’ve gotten so used to the 26" fatty, that I’m not sure if a 24" fatty would be a step in the right direction… but I’d sure love to give one a try.
