Unworthy to be a Scout

Rushed home from work, quickly changed, threw the uni (28/125) in the boot (US = trunk) and 30 drove for minutes across town. Mounted. Rode 0.3 miles. Left crank loose. Tool kit at home. Walked 0.3 miles. Drove home 30 minutes across town.

I always always always take my tools… except this time, as I was only doing a fast flat ride mainly on tarmac. Logic score = 0%

The Scout motto is ‘Be Prepared’. If I were to apply to join, I would no doubt be rejected.

Always carry your tools.

When uni’ing, I rarely carry anything (but a house key). As a former
scout I “am prepared” to walk home. It only seldom happens.
