I’ve seen your cranks somewhere in your videos with many holes drilled & tapped… What can you tell us about them? . Is that something you did? Or a professional? Is that something I can do in a vise with drill bits and a tap?. Was it successful, or a failed experiment? What would you recommend?

I’m a relative newbee, but currently have 20" fat tire, 26 Muni, 26 road, and a fresh purchase of a 36" night fox.

I updated my KH36 with KH disc on SPIRIT cranks and Nimbus D-Brake, but I wanted cranks with 3 holes at 110, 127 and 150mm in order to avoid crank changes as it’s not so convenient with the disc on the right crank As Kris doesn’t plan to make such cranks even if no technical issue as forging tool is the same for all SPIRIT cranks, I did my own 3 holes cranks based on 127/150 SPIRIT cranks :o Most difficult was to fit the crank at the right position. For a quality job at least a drill press would be required for drilling and highly recommenced for tapping the threads. In quality taps there is a small hole in the drive end that can be used to perfectly align the tap with the hole.
