Someone sent me this link. Very fun…30 pound packs and riding the CDT.
Anybody know them?
Just curious…

Gracie and Matt have been occasional contributors on the forums here. Gracie’s unicycles from this trip and from her cross-country Coker ride are now in the US Bicycle Museum in Davis, CA.
Gracie right now has a job as the recreation director for McMurdo Ice Station in Antarctica. She does have a unicycle down there.
Thanks…I appreciate that extra intel.

They also have a blog up depicting the journey: http://divideby1.blogspot.com/
I think i saw a video Blog/documentary of their ride as well on youtube…
FYI: They did the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, not the CDT (Continental Divide Trail). Both trails parallel one another but the Great Divide is mostly on dirt roads and some paved roads. The CDT is almost all single track.
I’m currently mountain unicycling 1,000 miles of the CDT (Continental Divide Trail) using my Sprinter van and a moped to self shuttle.
This surfboard rack I bought on Amazon fits my muni perfectly and I’m sure it would fit most unicycles as you can adjust the arms.
I’ll be posting short videos each day of my adventure. If you want to follow along just search for Unicycling Unicorn on FB, IG or YouTube. First vid just dropped!
Looking forward to your vids. Good luck for your endeavor! Hope you will experience the healing and consolation that you are looking for.
