Unicycles got a mention on national UK radio the other day on the Sarah Cox
breakfast show on Radio 1 (one of the most popular radio stations in the UK).
Every day they give a list of terms relating to a particular sport to their
sports guy “Chappers” and he has to guess to what sport they apply.
Anyroad, the dj asked to which sport do the terms “bunny-hop” and “rock on a
giraffe” apply. Without hesitation he replied “unicycling” stating he knows this
because of a friend always seen wearing cycle shorts.
