I have just received Jack Wiley’s “The Complete…” and am having great fun
reading it. (Nice work, Jack!)
Being a rabid book collector as well as a unicycling fan, I am always on the
lookout for new material. Brian Dube’s latest catalog includes a new entry:
“Unicycling from Beginning to Expert” by Sebastian Hoeher. If anybody has read
this, how is it?

I had no idea there was unicycling in SA! To what extent? Are there any clubs? I
definitely suggest that you and your uni friends participate in UNICON VIII in
the UK in August 1996.
Concerning the book, payment by credit card is not possible. Try to get hold of
$15 (or even a $10 bill) and put it in the mail. If that’s not possible I’ll
surface mail you (unless you’re in a hurry) a free copy with the hope that it
will help promote unicycling in SA.
BTW, what is the correct term for unicycle in Afrikaans? (I don’t mean a
translation like “one-wheel bicycle”). In Dutch, if I’m not mistaken, it is
ehnwiel fiets (spelling?). If there is a slight chance that the word unicycle
exists in some of the local African langugaes, I would like to know that too.
