Go with a Miyata. They are lighter than Semcycles, yet the Semcycles seem to be
less durable. Also, if you are in Canada, as your path suggests, you should be
able to get Miyatas fairly easily. You won’t go far wrong if you manage to pick
up a Semcycle, and if you can find an old used Schwinn (I don’t think they’re
being made any more), they’re not too bad, either.
