Unicycle tire

I have the Impact 19" Athmos Unicycle and I want to get a street tire. The only issue is that it uses a 19" x 2.5" tire and its the only on that size on unicycle.com and I cant find it anywhere else. Does anyone know of a 19" x 2.5 unicycle street tire?

Unicycle and bike tires aren’t specific to each other if that helps, you might find more results with bike in your search instead

I believe that size is specific to the Trials Unicycle and Trials Bike market. I don’t think I have ever seen a tire with street tread that can mount on a trials rim.

Well in that case I have an idea but you’re not going to like it

First: while bike and unicycle tires are the same, you have to be careful here, as there is confusing labelling. You correctly list it as a 19” tire, but sometimes people and even tires list as a 20” even though this is not the same as the real 20”.

As recommended above, you could try bike trials. But I think almost all the tires will have significant thread.

I’m guessing you’re wanting to do flat or street trials? I think most of the flat riders use “real” 20 wheels. Why exactly do you want a street tire? And do you mean low tread to ride faster? (seems kind of contradictory to a trials uni).

I’m not sure about street trials but as far as I know, most also use aggressive thread tires.

You could probably fit 20” in your frame, but of course you’d have to buy a wheel with rim and tire.

On one of my QX MUni Starter I have the KHE 2.4” x 20” Acme. BMX tires are great for street only or indoor, these are good from what you get for your money. I also like the grey 2.3 tires for hockey.

But the Starter is a 20” not a 19”. The rim width is 45mm. For around 15 Eur it’s maybe worth to give it a try and share your experiences, or check out BMX tires in general.
