This is a great thread.
I was in a small town, can’t remember the exact location now or name somewhere in Brittany, France - back in 2012 - and grabbed this photo of yours truly:
Thanks for extracting the relevant pages.
I came across this in Cape Town in 2018 and love that it’s still there to this day. It’s on the wall of a car dealership.
See it on Google Streetview:
I will use this to illustrate just how practical unicycles are for commuting. Well, compared to slip’n’slide at least.
I’d have to say I agree with that. I commuted home yesterday by bicycle and it worked quite well. After approximately 15km/10 miles it had taken me about 40 minutes and I didn’t feel particularly tired. By unicycle I would have been noticeably more tired, more sore and it would have taken longer, but it still would have beat walking. Pogo sticking, longboarding or the like would have been worse.
That’s awesome!
Glad you like it, I thought it was too.
I kind of hope the owner might be a secret unicyclist
Saw this afternoon a unicyclist in a book of paintings by Jean Delêtre, a surrealist French painter:

Blimey well spotted!!
I think that may be Ed Pratt.
That would be a beautiful jigsaw puzzle.
