Unicycle saddle making shorts ride up

I got the KH Street saddle and it’s great—except for one thing. Because of how the seat curves from back to front, it makes my shorts ride up all the way to my crotch when I ride. I wear bike shorts to help with it, and that works okay, but I’d really like to stop it from happening.

Here are two ideas I’ve had so far:

  1. Try wearing shorts with a longer inseam so they don’t ride up as easily.
  2. Flatten the saddle a bit, since my old saddle was flatter and didn’t cause this issue.

Any other suggestions?

Also this is what it looks like.

wear long jogging pants or something instead of shorts. easy peasy

Wearing your bike undershorts is a great step in the right direction. However, the shorts shown in the photo are too short to stay down. I don’t want my suggestion to cause you or your parents excess costs, but a pair of mountain bike shorts (or similar) that extend close to the knee will/should definitely help.

Pants. I wear pants all the time and they can’t ride up. They also help protect your legs from scrapes if/when you have falls.

I’m not sure of your skill/comfort level but as your riding ability increases you’ll have this happen to a lesser degree. You’ll also be able to stand and ride a bit to adjust and sit back down without dismounting.

Well, it’s spring, heading into summer, and as it gets hotter, pants are going to be really uncomfortable. I also consider myself to be a pretty good rider, but I have not really noticed a difference in how much the shorts ride up.

:frowning: my parents don’t buy me shorts anymore
