Just a thought
I’m planning a trip in October. Thinking about ordering the Nimbus bag from UDC and reinforcing it with two circles of thin plywood cut out to protect the rim and spokes. The frame and the seat I can put in my suitcase with my clothes and check it in at the airport.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Concerning the durability of the walls of the bag, as an optional extra we can offer Kevlar lining for the main panels, this would virtually ensure that any metal parts would be contained in the bag. Although we would be using Kevlar i can assure you that it would not add too much to the price of a bag.
