Unicycle Pedals

I am trying to decide between Odyssey JC PC Platform Pedals and Odyssey Twisted PC Pedals. My pedals go under some heaving use, because I ride street. The Odyssey JC PC are nice because they have a grip side and a grind side but I don’t know how I am supposed to get used to always having to make sure I am grinding on the right side of the pedal, and I am scared that I will hurt my shin with the metal grips, If you have any tips please tell me. Then the Odyssey Twisted are cheaper and I don’t have to worry about hurting my shin, and they seem like they are pretty strong also. If you have any ideas on which one I should get or any other please tell me.

Maybe you can use the black body half for grinding and the white one for the grip?

That could work, but how do I get used to the fact that I have to make sure I am using the correct pedal every time I grind?

I’d go for something without any metal. Twisted PC are a classic, not a bad choice, I’m honestly not sure what the current alternatives are.

I’ve often had a grind and non grind side on pedals (by just marking one side). The grind side will wear down and you’ll know when your foot is on it by feel. There is no secret to it, you just get used to checking.
