This is where i sound like a real muppet, i am cleaning my unicycle, and well i have come to my hub and have notice it has a red/brown color on one of the sides of the axel/or well jsut have a look at the picture because i dont really know what im talking about…

ooh and i forgot to ask what side is the brown side ment to be on…ie left side or right side
your picture doesn’t work, but I think that it’s the same brown that get on bike hubs, if so, it’s just dirty. You can put it on left or right it wont change anything. I hope this help, if not, well I cant help you.
