I can only book 8 or 9 am on August 1st. Iād suggest 5 pm, between flashmob and IUF meeting.
Could we do it on the 5th? Or maybe at the final party?
Weāll probably all have met even if itās just randomly walking into each other by the end. Not saying we canāt have more than 1 meetup but earlier is probably better.
@mindbalance - have you managed to get your box weight down? may be over-invested in your packing to avoid thinking about how much iāve got left to do!

Pretty much. The heavy thing taken out was my riding backpack - forget how over built it is, but I like it. So itās coming with me into the plane as my free smaller bag.
Then pedalling home from a mini human errand I realised Iād clean forgotten to take bedding for hostel so the weights back now to just under 33kg 
Iām tempted to chance it and if they refuse Iāll say can I take pedals in my carry on - that would do the trick I think. Iām hoping ~1kg is all possible human / scale error.
Still canāt fathom Iām flying tomorrow afternoon, with last minute pack faffing, 7am gym session and a half day of work wind down to jam in in the AM, before The Adventure Begins

I would love to go to Unicon some day 
Although I wonāt be going this year, I was thinking of doing some mock-events similar to those at Unicon. Something like doing a marathon ride on the day of the marathon ride at Unicon, etc. since Iām curious how Iāll compare

I read this as a very disrespectful comment. And I donāt get why you are writing it.
We organised a sightseeing tour and are very happy that so many people (also friends and related children of unicyclists on bikes) joined.

I could be wrong, and I am not speaking for @Felgenbremse, but his comment came across to me as a joke (or if you donāt share his sense of humor, an attempt at a joke), but I do not believe he intended it to be a disrespectful comment, no less a āvery disrespectfulā comment.

Personally, I would have tried something along the lines: āvery nice attention, they even arranged somebody to pickup and return the lost wheels they found during their tour !ā 
I always wear a helmet and Kneepads. Also for jokes. @Ziski you have to ask them If he also can do a wheelie with his bike. Than itās okay and he is also acceptet as a Unicycle too. Having fun it is forbidden, I had forgotten it.

Definitely not a great pick for either the hill of doom or the road from mario kart
