Uni stand

Hi all, I am looking for a unicycle stand for my 20". Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get one?

Get a guitar stand from your local music shop. They work a treat.

I had one for years and have thrown it away half a year ago because it became rusty. I did not use it. Trust me, when you have one you will certainly not use it. Just put a nail in the wall and hang it on the nail. Requires 1 hand and saves space. A uni stand requires 2 hands and maybe a foot to keep it in place. My opinion.

BTW I keep my uni inside

Then get a guitar wall mount and hang your uni on the wall :star_struck:

This is my Uni stand, in case I really need one (old pic from an old post here.):

I use two different unicycle stands that came with Torker unicycles.

Older Torker models (pre-2010) had two-piece stands that kept the unicycles upright (see image below). These stands are stable and quite good, but you need to learn how to avoid damaging the unicycle while using this type of stand.

Newer Torker models and some other low-end unicycles use guitar-stand style stands (see image below). These are very unstable and inconvenient.

Yup, I had the first version. Too complicated for daily use I think.

I simply use a large rubber coated hook to hang one of my unicycles. Takes up less space than a unicycle stand. But if you don’t want a hole in your wall, a unicycle/guitar stand would be great

Me too. I used your some years and I have 3 of them and 6 Unis. Works great.

I use a similar stand, and it works great!

Who needs a uni stand. They take too much space. I just pile mine in my home office. On the other side of the desk are the 26 and 29. The fatty and 36 are in the shed though.

Ultimate Wheel. Great. Can you ride it?

There was a time where I could do like 100 metres, but I went all in learning it and in the process damaged my knee, which I twisted when free-mounting it. Occasionally I want to see if I can still ride it. Because of my knee I allow myself only 15 minutes to get a feel for it and ride say 30 metres. But then I have to stop. In those youtube videos it looks real cool and easy, but it feels like wading through thick mud. Now I want new knees so I can practice more
Come to think of it, riding a geared unicycle I never got the hang of and in between the spokes of the UW in the black is the wheel from my free-wheel uni. I made a hard plunge backwards with it, which scared me away from spending more time on it. So Im at better at UW than riding freewheel or geared.
