Turning - HELP!

I am extremely new to unicycling, with little more than a few weeks of practice
behind me, but I am capable of riding as long as I like without falling off. The
problem comes with the turn. I just don’t know how to do
it. Is it a lean like a bicycle? Is it a hip twist? I don’t have any first-hand
experience with other unicyclers and I really don’t know how it is done.
All of the “learn to ride” stuff I find on the internet neglects to explain
the turn so I get the impression that I am missing something very basic.
Please help! Thanks.

Re: Turning - HELP!

aaahhhh… the way i learned to turn is pretty weird, but it works. I make it
like I am grabbing onto a bar and using the bar to turn sorta. I imagine I am in
a circular room with a big pole around the room, and I slide my hands so I am
turned. some people think im a lunatic when i do it though
