Tritao Workshop Tour

I was so excited to build it that I didn’t even think to weigh it beforehand. It did feel very light in the hands though. I’m considering upgrading to the new Hope GR4 brake when they come out in September, so if I do, I’ll weigh the frame when I remove the current brake from the frame

Hi @YouveLostAWheel! Would you have some more pictures to share? I’m currently thinking about getting a V-frame from Tritao. In particular, I’d like to be sure about the seat post clamp. As far as I remember, old Triton frames used to have the clamp directly integrated into the frame. Is this still the case, or do we need an external clamp? Thanks a lot!

Just have a few close up photos. Hopefully that helps. Worth just having a chat with Dmitry about your ideas I’d say. As for the seat tube, mine is just standard as you’d find on any other unicycle; i saw that some of their bikes they produce have a special built in clamp system though, so maybe possible?

Looks awesome! Very nice.

Thanks so much for these pictures! Your build is really gorgeous
I have already contacted Dimitry, but I also wanted to see what the final product would look like. And… Well, this may be the most beautiful uni I have ever seen. My heart is happy, but my bank account is not

So I just fitted the new Hope GR4 evo brake to my Tritao frame, and so took the opportunity to weigh the frame as requested. Frame alone is 620g, and with bearing caps and bolts it’s 692g. For size reference it is made to fit a 27.5 x 2.6 wheel.

So pretty comparable weight really to KH (620g w/o bearing holders and bolts) and M41 (630g+ 88g bearing holders and bolts).
