I was wondering if anyone had anythoughts about using a 26" Sem XLW frame for light trials. I have my frame lying around and was considering getting a 20" Alex rim built with a suzue hub for the wheel. I have the pedals and seat with seat post already.
I just have to get some short cranks.
I weigh 160 lbs.
I wouldn’t do drops over 2 feet, just hopping around and up on things.
The idea is grounded in building up a trials uni with parts I have lying around to lower the cost.
I know it would look funny with that big frame, but I just want to know if it would work.

Yes, the Suzue hub with Monty rim would fit in that frame. Your right about
it looking weird too.

Re: [trials] 26" Sem XLW frame for 20" trials, huh?
speaking of looking weird. When I first got my nimbus 2 28" frame I put my 20"
trials wheelset on it. It looked more than mildly rediculous, and I hit my
knees on the frame constant(inope)ly.
