These are my new favourite kind of videos to watch
I wish I had this kind of skill. What does everyone think?

so cool! on that last one, i wouldnt put too much stock in his bike, when there was no music on it was creaking pretty badly! I especially like the spins on the front wheel in the first one and the ride up the tree in the second one.
I’ve always loved watching bike trials, I have a lot of respect for people good at it.
90% of trials bikers hate unicyclers sooo much.
I have heard that before, but why do they hate us?
I hate unicyclers too
There is a bazillion bike trial video here: http://www.koxx.fr/index.php?lg=fr_FR&sec=trial&pg=video
just awesome.
have you guys think about this: bike trials is A LOT harder than unicycling trials.
the uni is much smaller. bikes are huge! how can those guys get those think up?!?!?!
some day I`d like to try it.
I agree, while you can go bigger on a bike i’ve ridden with bike trials riders and it seems a hell of a lot harder.
totally…
I checked the price of some bikes… just to see if I could go for it…
the cheapest one is 1099 euros…
I guess I`ll have to wait a bit…
ive done both bike trials is very hard compared to a unicyling i never got that good at it the biggest thing i could hop up was 3 ft and the biggest drop i done was 8ft so not realy that good unicycling is well more run though
That’s just the brake set up for maximum grab, and is pretty much a standard thing. The creaks don’t have anything to do with the quality of the bike.
The thing bike trials has on unicycle trials is flow.
good vids.
no not relay the 2 can not relay be compared
true but 90% of them are nerds soo ?
Bit torrent
http://www.mininova.org/tor/590300
For any bike trials fan that can use bit torrent, here is a link to what is without a doubt the most must have video in all of bike trials.
“Mastering the art of Trials”, with Ryan Leech. This isn’t just a show off film, though it has a lot of that. He explains how to do each technique.
You need a bit torrent client (free, google azureus), and a few hours to download it. This is a torrent link that will let you download a 1 gig full size film.
It is not a link to the clip like you tube. You download the torrent file (3 sec. for a few kb), then open it after you have installed azureus, then wait a few hours for the huge thing to download.
Anyway, I have ordered a 20" Onza. He makes it look so fun and easy ! Nothing I couldn’t do with perfect balance and 20 years of practice !
I like how I can do bike trials and uni in my neighborhood. They seem very similar to me, a lot of precision balance.
Bikes to $$$$$$
No one imports the beginner trials bikes from Onza or Monty into the U.S.
There are a small number of online shops with Koxx and Zoo that start around 1200 $ usd. So I am ordering one from blighty myself. About 200 $ to ship to Florida. Value added tax is subtracted from the prices shown here, so with shipping my Onza T vee will cost about 650 $

Seems like it would be cheaper to just get a mountain bike. Sure it wouldn’t be optimal for trials, but you could mountain bike on it also.
Mountain bikes are to heavy
And the good ones cost more than a trials. But so what. Lot’s of people do it anyway. Here is a link on using your mountain bike for trials.

My island has no hills. I also don’t have a bike. So I’ll buy the trials first. Light,
strong, single speed (derailers go smash). Cheap bmx bikes are heavy and weak, not unlike using a no name uni for trials.
no b**e threads on a UNICYCLIST forum, this is dumb
