Just came across a site showing some kids learning to ride - worth a look
just for the translations!

For example…

“Of school children persist the monocycle before beginning and be
practicing. The athletic meet is at the beginning of September because the
wind becomes strong, when the Issai becomes September, even to say that.
It is because we announce the performance of the monocycle before the
person of the area with the athletic meet.”
